Your Yoni And The Easter Egg

Reviving Your Spiritual And Sexual Relationships.

The history of Easter Eggs as a symbol of new life should come as no surprise. The notion that the Earth itself was hatched from an egg was once widespread and appears in creation stories ranging from Asian to Ireland.

Most scholars believe that Easter gets its name from Eostre or Ostara, a Germanic pagan goddess. Some also believe that Easter was the celebration of Ishtar – the Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of fertility and sex. Ishtar’s symbols were eggs and rabbits, symbolizing sex and fertility. I am not here to discuss what truth to believe on where the names and symbolism come from. But let’s just look at the universal cycle of life and what nature is telling us. Nature will show us what is happening in the outer world and inviting us to look at our own bodies and therefore our inner world.

Easter eggs, the Easter Bunny, the dawn that arrives with a resurrection of life, and the celebration of spring all serve to remind us of the cycle of rebirth and the need for renewal in our lives. And that implies sexual reproduction. Indeed, sex has more to do with Easter than chocolate – although there is no reason why you shouldn’t combine the two. According to some on the Tantric path that engages in sexual magic, sex can be used to awaken and develop consciousness, thus developing psychological, emotional and spiritual growth. Sexual energy can also be used for conscious manifestation purposes.

Easter is clearly a time for the regeneration process in order to raise our consciousness so we can learn the skills we need for the coming season. Our sexual energy is our creative, life-force energy. Through it, we give birth to new life. That life may be children and it may be new ideas, projects, dreams, visions.

Since we live in a culture that has a bipolar relationship to sex: it is everywhere—in advertising, film, pop songs—but we’re also told that we’re not allowed to have it and enjoy it, most people never make the connection that their sexual energy is key to their creativity. Or their vitality in general.

Let’s bring in the Sacredness of your Yoni this Easter

Color your Yoni – coloring eggs for Easter is tied to the rebirth and resurrection. And, yes, your Yoni is sacred. The word “Yoni” is actually Sanskrit for “womb,” “source,” or, yes, “vagina,” but, more generally, it refers to the divine feminine. So the word for our womb, Yoni, translates as “sacred place,” and it is a sacred place—it’s where many women access their intuition, their power, and their wisdom. It’s this inner sanctum that we can access when it’s not in use creating life. Sadly, most people use it as a psychic trash bin, storing old or negative energy. I see it as a place to celebrate ourselves as sexual, powerful beings, or as mothers, not a place to carry negative or un-dealt-with emotions.

With the use of Jade eggs, for example, it can help cultivate sexual energy, clear chi pathways in the body, intensify femininity, and invigorate our life force. To name a few!

Easter is also about those ‘baskets’; sexual and spiritual redemption, renewal and love.

What’s in your basket? Why not fill it with a renewed connection and love with Spirit, your relationships and yourself – including your sexual self!

The real power of the Yoni is not just that she feels good, or that she opens up our personal consciousness as women, or that she can show us where we have healing to do, or that she can help us open into juicy sexy love bliss.

The real power of the Yoni is the fruits she gives in our lives… through the way, she can literally awaken the consciousness of both ourselves and the people around us. When we’re all living at our highest and most embodied consciousness, that’s how we’re going to create the kind of universal reality that many of us, deep down, really long for. And that is a place of unity, love, safety, and truth.

So jump on the Yoni train with this Easter Full Moon ladies alone or with a partner! She’s ready and waiting for you to awaken her during this Easter 😉
